Our Commitment

TorontoBytes aims to make our website and services accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We work to remove barriers proactively and respond quickly when issues are identified.

Standards & Compliance

  • Logical heading order, proper landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
  • Keyboard-first navigation, visible focus states, and skip-to-content link.
  • Colour contrast targeting WCAG AA; dark/light theme support.
  • Form errors with programmatic cues (ARIA) and clear instructions.
  • Motion respect via prefers-reduced-motion and non-essential animation controls.

Compatibility & Technical Specs

  • Tested on recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.
  • Compatible with screen readers such as NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
  • Supports magnification/zoom and custom OS contrast settings.
  • Accessible without a mouse using Tab, Shift+Tab, and Enter/Space.

Known Limitations & Continuous Improvement

Despite our best efforts, some third-party widgets, iframes, or legacy assets may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We monitor and replace problematic components when feasible and provide accessible alternatives on request.
